Hand Crafted Bonfire Toffee.
Remember, remember the fifth of November, that is what you are usually saying when you have this delicious treacle flavoured toffee in your mouth (that is if you haven't put to much in), this hard toffee is from an old recipe that my mum used to make when i was little (so it has been around a good few years), all i can remember is being the taste tester with my saucer of water that my mum used to drop samples of the bonfire toffee on to see if it was hard enough, there were no candy thermometers in our house then, just my good sense of taste and sometimes burnt finger ends as you would roll back and foward the toffee in the water to see if had set, those were the days....I have tried to stick to the same traditions (except i now use a thermometer) to make sure i get this brittle treacle flavoured toffee to you with the best possible taste, i even break it by hand using a good old fashioned toffee hammer. I make this in small batches from scratch in my kitchen at home fresh for your order so please allow a couple of extra days delivery for me to make, just like all the products i hand make. I sell this in 250g resealable stand up pouch bags.
